Prices are very reasonable compared to prices that are truly expensive in Louisiana the hotel looks like you stepped in to 1979 but the hospitality of the customer service is is a 110% through the roof The owner of the location is the sweetest person you will ever meet, Their maid service is outstanding always cleaning your room in in in your room it's just really a nice place for a great price
This Motel is cheap and not a luxury spot. Yes, there are drug addicts that come here and beg for money sometimes, but out of all lodging in Thibodaux, this place is absolutely most kept up and has an owner who strives to keep it peaceful and running smoothly. Beds are not perfect and there may be problems here and there but they get dealt with as quickly as that old man can get them handled. I have stayed at this motel for many years when I have contracts in this area. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else out here.
An older motor lodge style motel, Yes rooms could use updating and would be almost perfect if they would remove the carpet from the rooms. All and all it is a convenient location, clean well stocked room offering fridge and microwave, cable tv and wi-fi. The front desk person/manager is very nice and helpful. I visit the L almost every time I go to Thibodaux. And yes, I have stayed at the swanky / pricer hotels yes they had pools and fancy furnishings BUT Bayou L had nostalgic charm and quaint comfort not to mention enough hot water for a very long relaxing hot shower after a long road trip.

Small and cozy. No noise. No hookers. The old man is wonderful. I love this place for a quiet getaway without ever leaving town.

Cheap and cozy. Took a little while for the room to cool off. And the bathroom had a terrible leak, woke up and the room floor was soaked. But it was clean, didn't see any bugs. And the staff is friendly!
